Try this place while on vacation and glad we did. I know it's a take home and cook yourself place but it was pretty simple to cook. The food was fresh and tasty. Have a tin can of the souvenir.

This review is for the location and staff not the food. I stopped in mistakenly thinking I could enjoy a delicious boil for lunch- oops- this place only sells the boil for you to cook at home. I love love love the idea and the food looked amazingly fresh, well laid out, and delicious. The staff was very sweet and friendly. He wished me a good day as I hungrily headed back into the world in search of a boil to fill my hungry belly with. If I lived closer I would absolutely get my boil needs here.
The best of both worlds. You get authentic seafood that you can order online and then bring back to your house. You can order online, schedule your pick up time and the amount of food you get is insane!
I only went in for a key lime pie and was not disappointed. The pie was filled to the top and was one of the better key lime pies that I've had. I usually don't care for the graham cracker crust but this one was rich and fresh, not soggy like some. I would go back for another one if I'm ever in the area again.
Topsail Steamer is worth every cent. The selection is incredible, fresh and absolutely delicious. From the seasonings to the pan and each detail that is provided; just wow!! A must try!
KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Would definitely recommend for literal anyone. We got 2 bucks for 6 adults and 2 little ones and everyone LOVED it. The pickup was clean, precise and the staff was beyond friendly and provided clear instructions. This was one of our highlights to topsail and I would come get buckets time and time again
We ordered a bunch for a family reunion with 19 people- both original and spicy. Everything was fantastic! So fresh and there were enough crab for everyone to have some! We would definitely do it again as it's so wonderful and everyone was happy!
Without a doubt the most genius thing since sliced bread - delicious too! A little aggravated and hangry for lunch my family went to Topsail Steamer hoping to get out of the heat and sit for a nice lunch. We were disappointed when we walked in and saw that this was only a take out place however, we started reading the menu and became intrigued. Staff immediately greeted us, coming from behind the counter to offer help and answer questions. After a minute or two of reading the menu we quickly left to find food and as we were eating at another restaurant we read up on Topsail Steamer and based on what we read and the reviews decided to try it for dinner. As we were sitting we went online and placed our order. Placing the order online was beyond simple. There is an array of sizes, combinations, customizations to make this your own but not overwhelmingly so. In short, you select the size of the pot, protein selections, seasoning blends and time for pick up. Then simply show up, grab your pot and go. The pots are a one time use, although we cleaned ours and saved if for another time, and come with detailed instructions on how to cook the food. Everything is neatly packaged and separated based on cooking times. They make is super easy. When we picked our pot up the staff walked through the cooking process and explained everything in detail. They even provide a roll of brown butcher style paper for your table to dump the pot of food onto. It took about 45 minutes and we had a low country boil with plenty of clams, shrimp, scallops, sausage, corn and potatoes that tasted wonderful. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. I would hands down do this again and again. PS the jalapeno cornbread in the photograph was bought at Topsail Steamers but was actually made by another local company.
